Balinese Gamelan Gong Kebyar 1.0

The Gong Kebyar application serves as an engaging tool for exploring traditional Balinese gamelan music, effectively contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage.

Gong Kebyar is recognized as one of the essential instruments within Balinese gamelan ensembles, consisting of five notes (panca nada) in the pelog scale. It is a familiar element within Balinese society, as nearly every village and community (banjar) possesses a Gong Kebyar ensemble.

Compared to other types of gamelan, Gong Kebyar is relatively new; it stands alongside traditional forms such as Gambang, Gong Gde, Slonding, Semara Pegulingan, and many others.
